The annual Shell Springboard awards are open for entries between 26 September and 28 October, 2016. Part of Shell’s global initiatives to support entrepreneurs with bright ideas for a lower-carbon future, the programme is seeking applications from UK businesses with commercially viable solutions to reduce carbon emissions. One national winner will receive £150,000 and a further five regional winners will each get £40,000 of equity-free funding, as well as advice from an esteemed panel of judges including academics, investors and policymakers, to help scale-up their enterprises. Winners will also get access to exclusive Shell events and workshops designed to accelerate their business development journey. More information on past winners, and how to apply can be found on the Shell Springboard website: www.ShellSpringboard.org.
