Food surplus redistribution and waste prevention

The final reports for the Hospitality and Food Service Agreement and the Courtauld Commitment 3 summarise the financial and environmental savings achieved.

Many of the signatories are continuing to build on this work with us under the Courtauld Commitment 2025 and they are aiming to reduce food and drink waste by 20% by 2025.

Where food surpluses cannot be avoided they aim to double the amount of food surplus they send for redistribution by 2020.
